Deployment via --function flag doesn't seem to invoke serverless-babel-plugin

I need to do more tests but when i deploy a single function it does not seem to invoke the babel plugin for transpiling. When I do a overall deploy it is fine.

Any work around?

Looks like there’s a related issue on the project. If that doesn’t help, you’ll probably need to open your own issue.
