Aws-amplify cli vs serverless: newbie doesn't know which CLI to use

Hi everybody!

I’m starting with AWS and I’m not sure what to use at the CLI level.

Currently I just have a domain on route53.

Maybe I’m missing something simple, but what are the pros and cons of using serverless or using aws-amplify cli?

I’ve seen several guides on how to configure both so they seem similar, but I don’t know what I can or can’t do with each.

I’m just reading about https://aws.amazon.com/fr/blogs/mobile/announcing-the-aws-amplify-cli-toolchain/ and I wonder how this is different from SLS. Of course, SLS is agnostic, so they definitely provide different services, but I wonder when/if we should use aws-amplify in addition of Serverless. Maybe some things are easier with amplify? I’ve never used aws-amplify, just discovering it and I wonder if it should be part of my tools.
