# Using non-default AWS endpoints

Is it possible to connect to custom endpoints like in [Terraform AWS Provider](https://registry.terraform.io/providers/hashicorp/aws/latest/docs/guides/custom-service-endpoints)? For example, can you use a FIPS compliant endpoint like `apigateway-fips.us-west-2.amazonaws.com` for API Gateway?
